I peer into the looking glass
Hoping to see my dream come true
Hoping to see a life of class
Hoping to see a time with you


I see nothing like that you see
It is nothing my parents promised me



I see you fade away
I am nothing
I see me leaving with no words to say
No words to speak
No words to convey



I look again with a question for the ball
Why am I not the happiest person of all
It asked me if I wanted to know
I told him yes and that I wouldnt go



He showed me a day to never forget
A time when I live my life with regrets
A time when all I did was choose
But didnt know what to do



I was alone
As I always have been
The looking glass said this is what I was destined



I left the ball tears running down my face
Get in my car and start to race



I wish I was wrong the looking glass said
It was the fastest ive ever sped



I get to my house quite unwell
To be alone
The looking glass wouldnt tell
If I could be a different person



I tell family and friends to fuck themselves
I was only thinking about me
It wasnt true
For I didnt want them to see



The next week they see
A letter in the paper
To all my friends from me
I really did care



But what they didnt know
Was i didnt want to show
My body laying on the floor
